The NGXASI advanced by 0.04% today to close at 98,166.23pts, as buy interest in MTNN (+2.68%), TRANSCOHOT (+3.03%) and CORNERST (+5.00%) drove the market into the green zone.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a bullish note as yields declined across the curve. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield contracted by 4bps to close at 22.13%. However, the FGN Bond market traded on a relatively quiet note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged at 18.74%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 1.89% to close at NGN 1,468.99/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) settled lower by 0.42% to USD83.63pb.
