The NGXASI advanced by 0.24% today to close at 99,284.38pts, as the buy-interests observed in ETERNA (+9.80%), REDSTAREX (+9.76%) and STANBIC (+9.62%) drove the local bourse into the positive zone.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market was bearish at today’s close, as yields increased across all tenors. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield rose by 36bps to close at 22.05%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond market traded on a negative note as the Average FGN Bond yield climbed by 3bps to close at 18.73%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.79% to close at NGN 1,488.60/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) advanced by 0.84% to USD78.17pb.
