The NGXASI declined by 0.15% today to close at 99,134.85pts, as the offers received in FIDELITYBK (-9.72%), STANBIC (-8.77%) and TRANSCORP (-3.29%) drove the equities market into the negative zone.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market was bullish at today’s close, as yields fell across all tenors. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield declined by 2bps to close at 22.03%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond market traded on a flattish note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained constant to close at 18.73%.
At the NAFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.48% to close at NGN 1,481.49/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) advanced by 2.00% to USD79.89pb.
