The NGXASI declined today by 0.54% to close at 96,907.48pts, driven by selloffs in OANDO (-9.98%), MTNN (-2.80%) and ZENITHBANK (-1.45%) which propelled the domestic bourse into the red zone.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed bullish largely due to buy pressure across the curve. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield declined by 27bps to close at 23.95%. Likewise, the FGN Bond market traded on a positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield fell by 4bps to close at 19.45%.
At the NAFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.61% to close at NGN1,676.90/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) rose by 1.89% to USD74.48pb.
