The NGXASI advanced by 0.43% today to close at 100,477.46pts, as positive sentiments observed in ETI (+3.70%), OANDO (+2.92%) and ZENITHBANK (+1.59%) drove the local bourse into the green zone.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed on a negative note today, largely due to the upwards momentum seen on the short end notes. As such, Average T-Bills yield rose by 1bp to close at 25.64%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond market traded on a tepid note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained constant to close at 19.69%.
At the NAFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.32% to close at NGN1,545.00/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) climbed by 1.33% to USD74.16pb.
