The NGXASI rose by 0.13% today to close at 100,050.94pts, as buy-ins witnessed in  MRSOIL (+10.00%), STANBC (+3.70%) and GTCO (+0.96%) drove the local bourse into the green zone.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed positive today, largely due to the downwards momentum seen across all the tenors. As such, Average T-Bills yield fell by 2bps to close at 25.63%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond market traded on a bearish note as the Average FGN Bond yield boosted by 15bp to close at 19.69%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.06% to close at NGN1,544.10/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) dipped by 1.45% to USD72.84pb.
