The NGXASI declined by 0.24% today to close at 104,496.12pts, as losses in OANDO (-10.00%), STANBIC (-9.94%) and GTCO (-2.01%) drove the local bourse into the red zone.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed flat with a slightly negative tilt. As such, Average T-Bills yield rose by 2bps to close at 23.43%. Similarly, the FGN Bond market closed on a bearish note as the Average FGN Bond yield increased by 7bps to close at 20.69%.

According to the FMDQ FX closing rate, the Naira appreciated by 0.75% to close at NGN1,474.78/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) moderated by 0.08% to USD76.81pb.
