The NGXASI advanced by 0.10% today to close at 105,430.15pts, as gains in FBNH (+9.56%), GTCO (+3.23%) and ACCESSCORP (+6.31%) drove the local bourse into the green zone.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed positive as yields had declined across all tenors of the curve. As such, Average T-Bills yield fell by 54bps to close at 22.64%. Similarly, the FGN Bond market closed on a bullish note as the Average FGN Bond yield fell by 5bps to close at 20.57%.

According to the FMDQ FX closing rate, the Naira depreciated by 0.05% to close at NGN1,500.65/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) declined by 0.48% to USD74.25pb.
