The NGXASI advanced by 0.65% today to close at 106,574.71pts, as gains witnessed in TRANSCORP (+8.91%), DANGCEM (+5.30%) and UBA (+1.84%) drove the local bourse into the positive zone.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed positive as yields had declined across all tenors of the curve. As such, Average T-Bills yield fell by 8bps to close at 22.39%. Similarly, the FGN Bond market closed on a bullish note as the Average FGN Bond yield fell by 14bps to close at 20.35%.

According to the FMDQ FX closing rate, the Naira depreciated by 0.04% to close at NGN1,506.40/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) advanced by 1.37% to USD76.91pb.
