Top Gainers and Losers: UPDC (+9.88%), IKEJAHOTEL (+8.75%), DAARCOMM (-9.09%) and TANTALIZER (-6.10%).

Sector Performances: Industrial (+0.62%), Consumer Goods (+0.10%), Banking (-0.84%)  and Oil & Gas.

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume declined by 31%, while total value rose by 48% respectively, when compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 241 million units of shares worth NGN5.81 billion. 

STERLINGNG (+1.17%) is the most traded stock by volume with about 80 million units of shares accounting for 33% of the total volume. 

DANGCEM (+1.24%) is the most traded stock by value with about NGN1.57 billion worth of shares accounting for 27% of the total value. 

Likely close: In the absence of any major decline in the share prices of AIRTELAFRI, DANGCEM and MTNN, the market should close green.
