The NGXASI boosted by 0.62% today to close at 106,698.50pts, as the positive sentiment in MTNN (+2.35%), DANGSUGAR (+5.71%) and NB (+8.48%) drove the local bourse upwards.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed positive as there were buy-ins observed across all ends of the curve. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield fell by 4bps to close at 21.03%. Similarly, the FGN Bond market was slightly positive as the Average FGN Bond yield was down by 1bp to close at 19.03%.

At the NFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.22% to close at NGN1,605.63/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) fell by 1.58% to USD60.32pb.
