The NGXASI advanced by 0.31% today to close at 121,361.87pts, as the gains recorded in FIRSTHOLDCO (+9.80%), GTCO (+1.56%) and DANGSUGAR (+2.02%) drove the domestic equities market into the green.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a positive note driven by the increase in yields across short and long tenor instruments amid buying interest from investors. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield declined by 5bps to close at 19.88%. Similarly, the FGN Bond market traded on a positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield moderated by 4bps to 17.55%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated marginally by 0.02% to close at NGN1,528.33/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) rose by 1.33% to trade at USD69.21pb.
