The NGXASI advanced by 0.08% today to close at 132,557.43pts, as gains in DANGSUGAR (+6.95%), ACCESSCORP (+3.64%) and NESTLE (+2.16%) drove the optimistic sentiment in the local equities market.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded resumed its bullish run as we observed a positive sentiment across the mid and long end of the benchmark curve. As a result, the Average T-Bills yield fell 2bps to close at 17.70%. Likewise, the FGN Bond market traded on a positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield declined by 5bps to close at 16.37%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira fell by 0.02% to close at NGN1,535.62/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) settled lower by 0.20% to USD68.45pb.
