The NGXASI advanced by 0.57% today to close at 147,713.69pts, as gains in DANGCEM (+1.74%), STANBIC (+5.50%) and TRANSCORP (+0.98%) drove the Nigerian equities market into the positive terrain.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a slightly flattish to positive note, following the mild increases observed at the short and mid tenors of the benchmark curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield remained unchanged to close at 17.39%. Similarly, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a relatively muted note as the Average FGN Bond yield closed flat at 15.98%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.16% to close at NGN1,457.51/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) settled higher by 0.99% to close at USD63.35pb.
