The NGXASI advanced by 0.65% today to close at 149,940.81pts, as gains in BUACEMENT (+6.25%), FIRSTHOLDCO (+3.50%) and MTNN (+1.18%) drove the local bourse into the positive region.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a positive note, following the decline in yields observed across the short and long tenors of the benchmark curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield declined by 4bps to close at 17.35%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a neutral tone as the Average FGN Bond yield remained flat to close at 15.97%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.68% to close at NGN 1,465.29/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) declined by 0.73% to close at USD60.84pb.
