The NGXASI boosted by 1.50% today to close at 153,736.25pts, as gains in DANGCEM (+6.50%), TRANSCOHOT (+6.26%) and MTNN (+4.17%) drove the local bourse into the positive region.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a slightly negative note, following the uptick in yields observed across the short and mid tenors of the benchmark curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield climbed by 1bp to close at 17.35%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a positive tone as the Average FGN Bond yield declined by 3bps to close at 15.89%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira traded flat to close at NGN 1,463.44/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) appreciated by 2.43% to close at USD62.81pb.
