The NGXASI advanced by 0.49% today to close at 154,489.90pts, as gains in WAPCO (+8.63%), MTNN (+2.00%) and DANGCEM (+1.61%) drove the local bourse into the positive region.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a slightly positive note, following the drift in yields observed across all the tenors of the benchmark curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield fell by 1bp to close at 17.35%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a tepid tone as the Average FGN Bond yield remained constant to close at 15.89%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.20% to close at NGN 1,460.49/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) appreciated by 5.53% to close at USD66.05pb.
