- Recently released data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed that Nigeria’s headline inflation moderated to 15.1% y/y in January, down from 15.2% y/y in December 2025.
- Food inflation declined, coming in at 8.9% y/y from the 10.8% y/y seen in December 2025, while core inflation fell to 17.7% y/y from 18.6% y/y in December 2025.
