The NGXASI advanced by 0.35% to close at 204,487.85pts as gains recorded in STANBIC (+6.52%), GUINNESS (+7.80%) and NB (+5.50%) drove the local bourse into the green.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a slightly positive note due to the modest buying interest observed at the short and long end of the curve amid cherry-picking activities amongst investors. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield moderated by 3bps to close at 17.44%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a tepid note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged at 15.89%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira closed at NGN1,356.89/USD as of last Friday. Crude oil price (Brent) rose by 5.15% to close at USD100.10pb.
