The NGXASI advanced by 0.71% to close at 205,913.93pts as gains recorded in SEPLAT (+9.42%), STANBIC (+10.00%) and WAPCO (+5.06%) drove the local bourse into the positive terrain.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a tepid to slightly positive note due to the moderate buying interest seen at the mid and long end of the curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield remained flat to close at 17.44%. Similarly, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a flat note as the Average FGN Bond yield stayed unchanged at 15.89%.
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.92% to close at NGN1,343.76/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) declined by 2.90% to close at USD96.48pb.
