The NGXASI advanced by 1.70% to close at 209,322.98pts as gains printed in AIRTEL (+10.00%), ZENITHBANK (+6.87%) and STANBIC (+8.23%) pushed the domestic bourse into the positive zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a quiet note, albeit with marginal buying activities across the belly and long end of the curve. Notwithstanding, the Average T-Bills yield closed flat at 17.44%. Conversely, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield moderated by 4bps to close at 15.85%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira closed flat at NGN1,343.74/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) rose by 0.93% to close at USD95.67pb.
