The NGXASI advanced by 0.61% to close at 219,586.90pts, as investors buy interest in TRANSCOHOT (+10.00%), FIRSTHOLDCO (+8.45%) and UBA (+5.98%) drove the domestic bourse into the positive terrain.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed slightly positive, as investors shifted focus to the treasury bills primary market auction held today. As such, the Average T-Bills yield moderated by 2bps to close at 17.42%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a flattish note as the Average FGN Bond yield inched up marginally by 1bp to close at 15.93%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.17% to close at NGN1,348.45/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) increased by 3.53% to close at USD101.96pb.
