The NGXASI advanced by 2.14% to close at 242,277.81pts, as investors buy interest in BUACEMENT (+10.00%), SEPLAT (+10.00%) and MTNN(+5.17%)  drove the domestic bourse into the positive region.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed on a flattish note, due to mixed sentiments observed across the benchmark of the curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield closed at 17.47%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a slightly negative note as the Average FGN Bond yield inched up by 3bps to close at closed at 16.09%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.33% to close at NGN1,374.94/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) fell by 3.27% to close at USD114.17pb.
