NGXASI Gains +0.04% on Blue Chips Interest

The NGXASI advanced by 0.04% to close at 252,508.19pts, as the gains printed in BUACEMENT (+2.35%), MTNN (+1.83%) and UNILEVER (+6.50%) pushed the Nigerian equities market into the positive terrain.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market exhibited a slightly negative performance following the mild selloffs observed across the belly and the long end of the curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield inched up by 3bps to close at 17.47%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a flattish note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged at 15.95%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.37% to close at NGN1,370.56/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) declined by 1.55% to close at USD106.10pb.
