The NGXASI increased by 0.22% to close at 249,712.37pts, as the gains recorded in OANDO (+5.00%), STANBIC (+2.65%) and BUACEMENT (+1.45%) drove the local equities market into the positive zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a flattish note amid the weak buying interest observed across mid and long end of the curve. As a result, the Average T-Bills yield remained unchanged to close at 17.46%. However, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a bearish note as the Average FGN Bond yield rose by 7bps to close at 16.28%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira declined by 0.16% to close at NGN1,375.00/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) rose by 0.61% to close at USD103.21pb.
