NGXASI Dips -0.05% on Losses in ACCESS, BUACEMENT, INTBREW

The NGXASI declined by 0.05% to close at 247,238.74pts, as the losses recorded in BUACEMENT (-2.47%), ACCESSCORP (-7.53%) and INTBREW (-9.85%) drove the local equities market into the red.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a positive note, driven by the buy sentiment observed across the short and long tenors of the benchmark curve. As a result, the Average T-Bills yield declined by 10bp to close at 18.17%. Similarly, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield declined by 12bps to close at 17.25%
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira fell by 0.01% to close at NGN1,362.21/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) declined by 7.33% to close at USD89.69pb.
