  • Today, the Nigerian Exchange Market closed on a negative note due to share price depreciation in HBMNG (-3.80%) and ZENITHBANK (-1.58%)

 

  • As a result, the benchmark Nigerian Exchange All-Share Index (NGX-ASI) fell by 0.41% to settle at 246,980.17 points

 

  • Year to date returns fell to settle at 58.71%

 

  • Market capitalisation also fell by 0.41% to close at N159.34tn ($116.59bn)

 

  • Activity level in the market was mixed with the total value of stocks traded falling by 7.23% to settle at N33.79bn

 

  • Meanwhile, the total volume of stocks traded rose by 12.11% to settle at 758.87mn units.
