NGXASI Depreciates -0.36%, Dragged by NGXGROUP, ETI, INTBREW

The NGXASI declined by 0.36% to close at 240,750.47pts, as the losses recorded in INTBREW (-3.79%), NGXGROUP (-2.34%) and ETI (-0.36%) drove the local equities market into the negative zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a mild positive note, driven by the buying interest observed across the short and mid end of the benchmark curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield declined by 1bp to close at 18.60%. Similarly, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield declined by 8bps to close at 16.87%
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira weakened by 0.53% to close at NGN1,350.41/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) rose by 1.58% to close at USD92.46pb.
