Q1. What is the Dangote Refinery IPO?
A: The Dangote Refinery IPO is a public offering that allows investors to purchase shares in Dangote Petroleum Refinery and become part-owners of the company.
Q2. Who can invest in the IPO?
A: The IPO is open to eligible retail investors, institutional investors, pension funds, diaspora investors, and other qualified investors as outlined in the prospectus.
Q3. How much is a Dangote Refinery share?
A: The approved offer comprises 4.1 billion ordinary shares at ₦525 per share.
Q4. What is the minimum investment amount?
A: The minimum subscription amount is ₦5,250, equivalent to 10 ordinary shares, and thereafter in multiples of 10 shares.
Q5. How can I apply for the IPO?
A: You can subscribe through Investment One Stockbrokers International Limited on the mobile app or the EasyInvest platform (offers.investment-one.com)
Q6. What documents do I need to subscribe?
A: You need a CSCS account. If you do not have one, Investment One can assist in opening one, or it will be automatically created during the application process.
Q7. When can I buy?
A: The offer is expected to open on 14 September 2026 and will be available through participating stockbrokers.
Q8. How long will the offer remain open?
A: The IPO is expected to remain open for 30 days, closing on 13 October 2026.
Q9. Can I sell my shares after listing?
A: Yes. Once listed on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), shareholders can buy or sell their shares through licensed stockbrokers.
Q10. Why should I consider investing in Dangote Refinery?
A: Dangote Refinery represents an opportunity to invest in one of Africa’s largest industrial projects, with significant potential to serve domestic and international energy markets while supporting Nigeria’s energy security and export growth.
Q11. Can I subscribe on behalf of my child or dependent?
A: Yes. After you have successfully completed your own subscription and logged back into the platform, navigate to the Dependent section. Enter your child’s NIN and bank account details, along with the required guardian information, to complete the subscription process on their behalf.
Q12. What if my BVN is not linked to a CSCS account or I do not have a CSCS account?
A: No problem. Simply provide your BVN during the application process. If you do not already have a CSCS account, one will be automatically created for you to facilitate your subscription. The same process applies to eligible diaspora investors.
