  • Today, the Nigerian Exchange Market closed on a negative note largely due to share price depreciation in GTCO (-3.28%) and BUACEMENT (-3.10%)
  • As a result, the benchmark Nigerian Exchange All-Share Index (NGX-ASI) fell by 0.29% to settle at 251,913.20 points
  • Year to date returns fell to settle at 61.88%
  • Market capitalisation also fell by 0.29% to close at N163.53tn ($122.91bn)
  • Activity level in the market was negative with the total value of stocks traded falling by 12.09% to settle at N34.30bn. Similarly, the total volume of stocks traded fell by 46.46% to settle at 548.67mn units
