  • Today, the Nigerian Exchange Market closed on a negative note largely due to share price depreciation in FIRSTHOLDCO (-6.16%) and NB (-1.71%)
  • As a result, the benchmark Nigerian Exchange All-Share Index (NGX-ASI) fell by 0.16% to settle at 250,808.27 points
  • Year to date returns fell to settle at 61.17%
  • Market capitalisation also fell by 0.28% to close at N162.84tn ($122.52bn)
  • Activity level in the market was negative with the total value of stocks traded falling by 48.60% to settle at N27.57bn
  • Similarly, the total volume of stocks traded fell by 46.19% to settle at 557.15mn units
