Sterling Bank change External Auditors

The Bank has notified The Exchange that its Board has approved the engagement of Ernest & Young to provide audit services to the Bank and its subsidiaries. Ernest & Young replaces KPMG Professional Services whose tenure expired having spent 13 years as its auditors.

 

The appointment takes effect from this financial year ending, December 2010 and the statutory resolution for ratification by the shareholders will be presented at the Bank’s next Annual General Meeting.

 

Also PINNACLE POINT GROUP LIMITED notified The Exchange of the appointment of Mr. SLH Braun as a Director on its Board and the retirement of MS Thabiso Moerane from its Directorate.

 

These changes took effect from Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the Company’s Annual General Meeting.

 

While FBN CAPITAL has scheduled its FBN Heritage Fund 2nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Thursday, November 25, 2010 at 11.00 am at the Island Club, 3 Island Club Road, Onikan, Lagos.
