Unity Bank Plc has said on Monday that it will open15 branches across the country next year.
The Head, Corporate Communications of the bank, Mr. Ndu Eke, in a statement on Monday, said, â€ÂÂWe will be opening 15 new branches next year following increasing demands of customers.
“We opened 16 branches in Lagos and other parts of the country in the outgoing year, bringing our total branches nationwide to 229.â€ÂÂ
He added â€ÂÂThe new branches include those in Festac Town, Lekki, Ikorodu in Lagos State and Enugu, Calabar, Owerri and Umuahia in the South-East and South-South zones of the country.â€ÂÂ
Eke said that the bank had successfully completed its N24bn re-capitalisation process as directed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and had trained a total of 1,592 members of its employees locally and abroad to meet all operational challenges.
According to Eke, the bank was at the trade fair to showcase its new corporate identity and colours of lemon sky and graphite, which were chosen for the fresh, simple, contemporary and welcoming appeal to customers.
Eke also said that the trade fair also provided another opportunity for the exhibition and promotion of the bank‘s new products, which were primarily designed to improve the well-being and businesses of its customers.
He noted that the bank‘s new products had assisted greatly in its re-integration and market re-positioning, adding that the future was bright for its optimal growth and its array of customers.
Eke said that all its banking transactions, including ATM services, were available at its trade fair stand and urged all its old, new and prospective customers to take full advantage of them.
