Further to the directives from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to the Council of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) to admit some professionals, as public interest members, to strengthen the Council and support its new management team; sources confirm that a list has been put together.

The possible council members will include:

1. Bismark REWANE; Managing Director of Financial Derivatives Limited

2. Yemisi AYENI; Managing Director of Shell Nig. Closed Pension Fund Administrator Ltd

3. Hassan USMAN, the MD/CEO ASO Savings & Loans Plc

4. Bimbo OGUNBANJO;

5. Dorothy Udeme-UFOT; (SAN), Chartered Arbitrator

Existing members include Oba Otudeko (past president), Chief Reginald Abbey-Hart,JP (1st Vice President), Alhaji Maccido, Mallam Ballama Manu (Interim President) and Emmanuel Ikhazoboh (Deputy to Interim President).
