Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Unity Bank Plc on Friday said its pretax profit for the third quarter (Q3) period ended September 30, 2014 grew 898.2 percent to N12.018 billion from N1.204 billion recorded in the corresponding period of 2013, the lender said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

Similarly, post tax profit climbed up 859.0 percent to N11.057 billion in the Q3 of 2014 from N1153 billion reported in the same period of 2013.

Gross income of the lender also increased 6.0 percent to N48.140 billion from N45.395 billion recorded in the Q3 of 2013.
