Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Construction giant, Julius Berger Plc said on Monday its profit before tax fell 40 percent in its third quarter (Q3) period ended September 30, 2014 to N9.732 billion from N16.220 billion in the Q3 of 2013, the company said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Similarly, profit after tax went down by 28.1 percent to N5.644 billion from N7.853 billion in the corresponding period of 2013.
Revenue decreased to N156.979 billion in the Q3 of 2014 from N212.737 billion in the same period of 2013; indicating a decrease of 26.2 percent.
