Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Global lender, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), in partnership with the World Bank and the World Trade Organisation (WTO), will on Thursday begin the third IMF/WB/WTO trade workshop.
The IMF says the event brings together trade experts from the three (3) institutions to present cutting-edge research work and exchange views on current trade issues.
Christine Lagarde, the IMF managing director (MD) will offer videotaped opening remarks and David Lipton, the first deputy managing director (DMD) of the global lender will participate in the panel discussion on the future of trade.
However, the IMF says the event is not open to the public or the press and it’s scheduled for November 6-7, 2014 at the Funds headquarters in Washington D.C.
