‘’The Nigerian Stock Exchange is extremely committed to this association and on behalf of the CEO, I want to stress that we shall continue to seek creative and progressive ways of partnering with the association on developing more of its initiatives,’’ he said.
According to Adeeko, this year’s theme demonstrates CAMCAN’s commitment in contributing its quota to the continued growth and development of the Nigerian Capital Market.
The general manager/head corporate services division at the NSE said as the Exchange continues to work towards achieving and sustaining the market, the leadership role of CAMCAN in the nation’s capital marketcannot be over emphasized. ‘’Throughout the history of The Exchange your presence has helped project and promote the capital market. We believe that our success has been your success. Undeniably CAMCAN has a very constructive role to play in the expansion of our capital market,’’ he added.
Adeeko further affirmed that whilst investors’ confidence is slowly being rebuilt, there is still a long way to go and many challenges to overcome. ‘’It is our hope that we will continue to play our various roles in the Transformation of the Nigerian Capital Market and this same measure of commitment will lead us to all-round market improvement in 2015,’’ he affirmed.
He challenged CAMCAN and other capital market stakeholders to maximize their wealth of diverse experience that has been put together for the conference.
‘’I am convinced that this marks the beginning of a high impact journey towards building the future that we all desire! Again I thank you for your unflinching support over the last couple of years in helping grow our market and we look forward to future collaboration,’’ he said.
