Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-oil services firm, Eterna Oil Plc on Thursday said its 2014 audited year end pretax profit grew 67.6 percent to N1.79 billion from N1.07 billion recorded a year earlier, the company said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
Also, profit after tax (PAT) increased by 83.3 percent to N1.29 billion from N703.19 million in 2013.
Revenue declined from N98.3 billion in 2013 end to N81.94 billion in the review period of 2014; showing a decline of 17 percent.
At the close of business on the Nigerian bourse, share price of the company lost 0.13 kobo as it opened N2.72 and closed N2.59; dropping 4.96 percent.
