Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Beer maker, Nigerian Breweries Plc said on Thursday its 2015 first quarter pretax profit dipped slightly 1.83 percent to N14.438 billion from N14.710 billion the same period of last year.

However, profit after tax (PAT) inched up marginally 0.45 percent to N10.102 billion from N10.059 billion recorded the corresponding period of 2014.

Revenue also climbed up from N68.976 billion to N69.921 billion up marginally by 1.37 percent, the beer maker said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

Share price of the company appreciated 1.19 percent at the end of transactions on the Nigerian bourse as it opened at N151.33 and closed at N153.00 gaining N1.80.
