Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-The Nigeria’s apex capital market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Tuesday directed all registered capital market operators (CMOs) in Nigeria to update their registration information, the Commission said in a notice on its official website.
“All registered Capital Market Operators (CMOs) are directed to check this list and formally report any change (s) of status different from what the list contains, not later than two weeks from this notice. You are also requested to note the gaps in your registered information and provide required details,” the notice said.
SEC directed that any change(s) relating to address, name, email, directors, CEOs is expected to be communicated on SEC Form 7 while that relating to resignation and transfer of sponsored individuals should be communicated on SEC Forms 2A and 2B respectively.
The Commission affirmed that any new information submitted in the present month will reflect on the updated list to be uploaded next month.
