Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Beer maker, Champion Breweries Plc announced last week Friday it has listed N1.23 billion worth of shares on the Daily Official List (DOL) of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

“Dealing Members are hereby notified that 629,496,464 ordinary shares of Champion Breweries Plc at N1.85 per share were on 18 May 2015 listed on The Daily Official List of The Exchange,” the company said in an issuer’s announcement with the NSE.

According to the company, this is subsequent to the conclusion of its Placing exercise. ”With the Placing of this of 629,496,464 Units of ordinary shares, the total issued and fully paid up shares of Champion Breweries Plc will now increase from 7,200,000,000 Units to 7,829,496,464 Units ordinary shares,” the beer maker added.
