Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Insurer, Regency Alliance Insurance Plc said on Monday it has appointed Chief Bayo Adejumo as the acting chairman of the company following the resignation of Hon. Justice Adolphus Karibi-Whyte, as a director and chairman of the board of the company.

The insurer in an issuer’s announcement with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) said the appointment is coming on the heels of the board of directors meeting held on March 5, 2015.

“Chief Adebayo Adejumo is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and a seasoned business man. He has been on the company’s board since 21 July 2005,” the company said.
