Acorn Petroleum Plc, a company trading on the NASD OTC platform will be raising fresh capital via the rights issue window.
This position was confirmed over the weekend by Mamman Bukar, Ag. Chief Executive Officer of Mainstreet Bank Capital Limited which is a joint issuing house to the issue.
The company will be issuing 1,000,000,000 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each at 75kobo per share to the existing shareholders whose name appear on the register of members as at May 12th, 2015.
This will be the first Rights Issue to be traded on NASD OTC platform in the history of Nigerian Capital Market.
The acceptance list opens July 20th and closes August 14th 2015.
