Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-FBN Holdings Plc said on Wednesday its first-half (H1) 2015 pretax profit rose 7.9 percent to N52.086 billion from N48.252 billion recorded a year ago.
Also, post tax profit grew 7.7 percent to N40.061 billion from N37.180 billion recorded in the H1 period of 2014.
Gross earnings increased from N212 billion in the first-half period of 2014 to N271.300 billion in the review period of 2015; showing an increase in revenue of 28 percent, FBN Holdings said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
Shares of the financial services firm climbed up 0.26 percent to N7.80 from N7.78 gaining 0.02 kobo per share.
