Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Courier and logistics firm, Red Star Express Plc said on Tuesday its profit for the full year period ended March 31, 2015 dipped five (5) percent to N383.63 million from N403.63 million recorded a year ago.
Pretax profit also declined marginally 1.2 percent to N611.06 million from N603.89 million posted the same period of last year.
However, revenue grew slightly from N6.42 billion in 2014 to N6.66 billion in corresponding period of 2015; showing a revenue of 3.8 percent, the courier services firm said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
The company declared a dividend of 35 kobo per share to its shareholders and said that closure date has been scheduled for August 5-7, 2015.
While Annual General Meeting (AGM) and payment of the 35 kobo per share dividend to shareholders is September 3 and September 14, 2015 respectively.
