ETI Says 2015 H1 Pretax Profit up 47.4%

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Pan-African lender, Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) said on Wednesday its first-half (H1) pretax profit for the period ended June 30, 2015 climbed up 47.4 percent to N61.414 billion from N41.665 billion recorded a year earlier.

Similarly, profit after tax (PAT) of ETI grew 52.1 percent to N48.118 billion from N31.629 billion in the same period of 2014.

Gross earnings increased from N225.26 billion in the H1 period of 2014 to N273.99 billion in the review period of 2015; indicating an increase of 21.6 percent, the pan-African bank said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock exchange (NSE).
