Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Insurer, Axa Mansard Insurance Plc on Friday declared its profit after tax (PAT) for the half-year period ended June 30, 2015 grew 37 percent to N785.9 million from N574.3 million recorded the same period of last year.

Profit before tax (PBT) climbed up 18 percent to N1.173 billion from N993 billion declared in the H1 period of 2014.

Also, gross premium increased from N9.611 billion to N10.569 billion in the H1 period of 2015, indicating an increment of 10 percent, Axa Mansard said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

The company also offered an interim dividend of 3 kobo per share to investors of the company.

The newly rebranded insurer said October 13 and 14, 2015 has been scheduled as qualification and closure of register date respectively, while payment date is October 26, 2015.
