Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Cement manufacturer, Dangote Cement Plc said on Thursday its first-half (H1) 2015 profit rose 27.6 percent to N121.8 billion from N95.4 billion recorded the same period of last year.

Also, profit before tax (PBT) grew 20.2 percent to N128.7 billion from N107 billion reported in the H1 period of 2014.

Revenue of the cement maker increased from N208.90 billion in the half-year period of 2014 to N242.21 billion; showing a growth of 15.9 percent in the review period, Dangote Cement said in a filing to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
