Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Senator Udoma Udo Udoma and Okechukwu Eyinna Enelamah has resigned from the board of UAC of Nigeria Plc as non-executive directors with effect from Thursday November 12, 2015 following their appointments as ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The company said the development is coming pursuant to Rule 1(a) (ii) of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) listing requirements.
Daniel Owhor Agbor and Okechukwu John Mbonu have been appointed as non-executive directors to replace the duo with effect from same date of November 12, 2015.
Udoma was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari as minister of Buget and National Planning, while Enelamah was appoint as minister of Industry, Trade and Investment.
The two (2) appointments were amongst the 36 ministers announced and sworn in last Wednesday, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja after the long-awaited portfolios of ministers by the current administration.
